Midland Property & Investment Awards Announces Kids’ Village Charity as Official Charity Partner

The Midland Property & Investment Awards (An event powered by B Events) is proud to announce its partnership with Kids’ Village Charity as the official charity for this year’s awards ceremony, set to take place this September. Kids’ Village, a groundbreaking initiative, is the UK’s first respite holiday village designed exclusively for children with critical illnesses and their families.

Founded by the Fletcher family, inspired by 9-year-old Sammie’s battle with childhood cancer and an uplifting trip, Kids’ Village aims to provide a sanctuary where sick children and their families can enjoy nature, indulge in imaginative play, and experience a sense of freedom away from the daily challenges of serious illness.

Interim CEO of Kids’ Village, Paul Faulkner, expressed his gratitude and excitement about the partnership: “We are delighted that Kids’ Village has been chosen as the official charity partner of the prestigious Midlands Property & Investment Awards, taking place this September.

Kids’ Village is on a mission to raise £5million so that we can build the UK’s first holiday village offering respite breaks for critically ill children and their families right here in the Midlands, and so there is a natural alignment with these Awards.

As a young charity, this is also the first Awards ceremony that has selected Kids’ Village to be its charity partner since we announced our fundraising target, and so we are incredibly appreciative of the opportunity to collaborate with the Awards and to tell more people about all Kids’ Village is aiming to achieve.”

The partnership between the Midland Property & Investment Awards and Kids’ Village Charity underscores a shared commitment to community support and social responsibility. By aligning with Kids’ Village, the Awards aim to highlight the importance of giving back and supporting initiatives that provide critical aid and joy to families facing unimaginable challenges. The awards ceremony will take place on 20th September 2024 in Birmingham.
