Owner/Founder of FleetMilne Residential Property Agency
As owner/founder of FleetMilne residential property agency, and having previously worked at other Birmingham residential agencies, Nicola’s career has been residential throughout. Nicola understands and excels at the residential agency sector, but has been successful in creating a more sophisticated offering for the Build to Rent sector.
Nicola enjoys excellent relationships with both individual clients and the asset managers looking after large portfolios. Always been able to identify what each client needs for success, and her team are adept at delivering what has been promised. Nicola is very proud of the teams she has built up; they are encouraged to question the process and seek to better it wherever they can. The result is a quickly evolving set of processes which don’t allow for complacency.
Nicola has been the Chair of the Colmore BID board since January 2020 and was Deputy Chair for 2 years prior. her first leadership challenge was successfully navigating the Covid-19 crisis, representing both a large number of professional service businesses and a small contingent of hospitality businesses. Technologies were implemented, communications were strengthened and increased, relationships were nurtured. It started as ‘speed over elegance’ but ultimately developed into stronger systems and better understandings. Nicola is proud of the path they have travelled since Covid entered our lives; the strong team she is surrounded by, both Directors and executive team, are such a blessing in these tricky times.
Nicola is also incredibly active in my voluntary positions. She is co-Chair of the Jewellery Quarter Neighbourhood Planning Forum, and from 2013-2020, a member of the Hippodrome Development Board. A former Birmingham Young Professional of the Year award winner, IoD award winner and an active member of Birmingham’s thriving professional community; her drive and influential status have had a substantial impact on Birmingham’s development.
